bought a 2610 need some help

I have finally done it a gone for the 2610. Being a Mac user i would like to use a 1 or 2gb card an load once everyhting. I understand this is possible. Can someone tell me how long this would take to load to the card? What makes of CF cards are best for 2610? Also to do the unlock thing on the internet do you need to have the mapsource in the computer or is it a caase of i can use any computer to unlock the maps?

Well thats my lot for now no doubt when i get my first unit i will call on those who know better.

To load the whole of europe onto a 2gb cf will take about half hour if I remember correctly, maybe a bit longer.

I use Kingston, theyve not let me down, have sd and cf in two units and they work fine.

You have to have the mapping loaded onto the computer you intend to upload to the unit, the log onto Garmin and unlock.
