Sound or no sound, they're still great pictures to have, even better to have been in the position to take them.

:clap

Some good photos there Mick.
Only found out about it after it was finished..

Fantastic pictures :thumb

Bet the sound of that lancaster flying over made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up

They were over the same reservoirs Brian, I couldnt get quite up to the top res as the bloody event was not well advertised and I only heard about it being on 3 hours before it started, and they closed the access road so you had to walk at least 2 1/2 mile to get to the Derwent and Howden res's. The last time they did it big time ( the flypast ) the orgernisers cocked the park and ride up that much I recon this time to save any trouble to them they kept in secret
I spoke to a "Peak Park Ranger" who was very very helpful with local trails and tracks, he also is suposed to be posting me a CD with "over 200 pictures" he took
Let see if there is any guduns amonst them eh !!
Ready for a road ride next time Brian ?????
Pubic moterised access to the 2 top Dams is only allowed mid-week, so if anyone would like to see this stunning area of historic wartime fame do it midweek or bring yer boots or pushy

HTHY :thumb

Great photo Mick, I watched it on the telly at work and would have loved to have seen them.

Why is it we only get to know about these things after the "event". It was the same a few weeks ago when the Tornado,s left RAF Leeming and put on a bit of a show beating up the base. First thing we new about it was on local news that night. (Pee,d off)
