Boxer Design LED Rear lights and no plate holder

Got to say I agree - why put those tiny things on?
I don't want dozy cow saying...'but I didn't see him indicating'. You don't exactly have a leg to stand on....... 'Oh come off it love!! They are at least as big as a pin head!'

and..... if the LED rear light is a bad as the one I followed on the Snowdonia weekend earlier in the year, you can keep that too. You would be better keeping a mini maglight clenched between your cheeks:D :D :D

Chortle chortle chortle

I thought we'd got rid of that thread! I'm suprised no-one's mentioned Malky's wide tails!!!

Ummm

Wanted to know if anyone had bought one....not why people wouldn't.

Oh well

(and no I dont particularly want mini indicators, and yes I have Malky's wide tail (LED) conversion, but having had problems with the existing tail light as well as the indicators (but not with my hi-level LED brake lights nor Malkys LED wide tail lights) I was thinking about a full LED conversion)

As to the cost, a couple of hundred pounds would be much less than the three visits to BMW dealers in an attempt to solve the rear brake light problem and the £60 in rear indicators I have spent in the last week.

Yes, ive followed that very light for a few miles and think its a lovely wee thing. not too bright in daylight though. I was considering getting one. It looks far better than that monstrosity of a standard lamp.......... and about the same size as a standard lamp, remember them? my mum had one.

Any problems with fitting it?
Does it feel like a 'quality' item?
Why no indicators? (ie did it come without them, or did they not fit etc, etc..)

No real problems fitting it, just took a wee bit of time to sort mounting and wiring. I didn't want the indicators, I have some LEDs running lights in the indicator housing anyway.

The Bike thinks the Bulb has failed due to the low current draw, so you need to wait a few seconds for the lower brake warning light to go out without starting your engine, oh and not to have the Brakes 'on' otherwise the light stays on, most distracting!
