bracket cracked

Hi all

The other day i found a cracked braket.
Just above the rear brake pedal,
welded to the horizontal tude and bolts to the
rear of the shaft drive casing.
in front of the circle frame tube junction.
would anyone know the cause of this crack ???

If you haven’t done it by falling off or some other mistreatment then it must be down to a manufacturing fault. Go straight to a BMW dealer for a new frame section (under warrantee). I'll have a look at mine after I finish this coffee.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com
