Brake light !

Ok . brake light not workin . Changed the bulb all ok , couldn't here the click on the front brake so pulled the switch out . There is a faint click , cleaned with contact spray still no light , is the switch at fault or something else ??

Do you have a multimeter?
Check for power at the bulb. Check for power at the switch. Check the ground connection

Is the brake light working off the foot brake ?

Short the wires from the switch together ,does it light up?

I was just about to type check the back of the light unit. They really do get in a mess in there.
It looks like you have found that out already
