Brake Noise

Really pleased with my 12GS. Thankfully, haven't had any of the troubles reported however I am getting fed up with the front brake screaming when pulling up. I know there have been threads on this subject but looking for a quick fix from someone. Only done ~4k miles but pulling up in London is waking folk up in Birmingham !
Help/advise please....... Ta

Well, not me actually. The dealer did it, under warranty as it's a known problem on certain vintage bikes (2004 models I believe)

No big deal but cures the problem straight away.

and others like it. There is a fix using new mounting washers for the front discs. It can be done by the dealer as a warranty issue and takes little time.

On my 1200 it has worked well.
