Williams Manchester have just quoted me £76.37 for a full set of brake pads, front and rear....Any comments.

60 euros is more like it... That's what I pay in Belgium for EBC pads all around.

What brake system do you have?

The older system or the new evo brakes?

IE do they have brembo or bmw on the calipers?

I will give you part no's & costs once advised

I just paid about £70 from Rainbow for a full set of genuine pads for an 1100 GS. They advised not to fit EBC or Ferodo as they don't fit the sliders properly and wear the disks quicker.

...yes they would say that but Rainbow are pretty trustworthy when it comes to advice.

Actually, I think that's pretty good, assuming they're genuine BMW parts. The list price is over £100 inc VAT.

yup, get the set of securing pins as well, 'cos they rust easy, and then tend to make yer pads bind on the disks, I fink they were about £18 for the three pins needed:(

For OE pads that sounds about right. I think I paid about £27 for a rear set a few months ago.

Pattern parts will be cheaper - Hein Gericke do them for £15.95 according to their website

i need rears soon - youve given me heart attack :D:D

You'd better stop using your brakes then - they only slow you down!
