Thanks for the advice I got in Jan when the 15A fuse on my Dakar was blowing once a week. I checked/tightened all the connections and the problem seemed to go away.
Yesterday it happened again (3 times) - so armed with a dozen fuses this afternoon I started to figure out what was causing it. I eventually narrowed it down to the switch on the brake pedal. Using the pedal blows the fuse (which means no headlight, tail light, brake light or indicators). I taped up the switch and everything seems to be fine. (The brake light comes on when I pull the handlever - which I would do first when braking).
Does this sound plausible - or is it likely that this is a coincidence and the real problem might be something else?
Any tips on replacing the switch - its not easy to access?
Thanks
Joe
