So, there are three breather/drain tubes down the left hand side of the bike. I know that one drains the perimeter of the fuel neck. What are the other two for? I ask because when the bike was on a stand having a new front tyre today, a pool of clean light oil (spoonful) dripped onto the floor, I assume because of the 'unusual attidude' of the bike when on the stand.

Anyone know?

Cheers

Andy

One is for the fuel filler neck to drain any water collected around the fuel tank lid.

One is the fuel tank breather - to allow air to get in as the fuel is sucked out.

No idea what the third is for.

We have a 3rd tube for the charcoal cannister which is a US only thing. Wonder if it's just easier for bmw to have them on all bikes or are the cannisters coming to the rest of the world?
