Anyone tried these on their 1150?? I've always liked Bridgestones on sports bikes and given the amount of time I spend off road [<5%] reckon they might be worth a go.

I understand that they are just 020's with a deeper / different tread pattern. Should be good on the road then and fairly sticky.
I would be concerned about the tread pattern off road until it is a proven thing. Also the edge blocks in the tread on Trailwings would squirm like a squirmy thing under pressure (
) so I hope they've fixed that

Good enough. I've had a couple of slides - but nothing I didn't expect and only when I've kind of gone looking for them.
Utter rubbish on anything wet and muddy (but I think you could've probably guessed that).
Mine are somewhat blued now (hot weather and pacy riding) and a bit squared off after about 2000 miles, but on balance I 'd say I like them. I didn't think I'd trust them as much as something from the Pirelli/Metzeler stable, but actually I've been pleasantly surprised.

Fitted some just after the 6000 mile service and have found them excellent. They are a purely a road tyre with an off road design. As you've probably discovered, they are more expensive than pretty much all the alternatives but in my humble opinion, well worth the money for the type I riding I do. It could just be psychological, but they inspire far more confidence when cornering than the trailwings ever did. I say give them a go!!!

Thanks guys, Hmmm most of the time my riding would suit the BWs but there’s a possibility of a Morocco road trip in October… Better play safe with the tourances until the wear rates are better known...
BattleWing just sounds so gay. Tourance sounds much better. Important if there gonna be on ya baby for a while!!!

Whilst we're on the subject of tyres, I'm more than pleased with my Anakee's great milage (8000+ from the rear then picked up a skrew and that was that, 'recon it wauld have gone over ten K' front just comming up to 10'000 and still quite good for possibly 12K) and confidence in the wet and gripp in the dry
But I keep riding off the side of the rear (no room for sissy lines here
) I have to say, I'm realy enjoying the 12gs Does any one know if the anakee or tourance (I want to stick with the high milage tyres, 5000 ml 020's aint worth the money in my job ' good tyre but wears to quickly) is available in a 160/170 section to fit the gs? and would I be forced to fit the K12s rear wheel? ( I'm sure I've seen somthing about it on here somewere)
