brightness dims even though full charged?

can someone please help.

When my laptop is fully charged i take the charger out. As soon as i do that i lose about half the brightness. i have checked battery settings or enegy savings etc but i amon the full .
If i plug it backin the full brightness appears but take out it dims.

Is there a fault or ami missing something here ....Many thanks

Nope. It'll be a setting which auto dims the screen in battery mode to save power.

Look under power settings, or perhaps battery mode.

Did not goonto further options...Now i feel a bit dim
