Well, after 18 months of contract with Talk Talk we are now thinking about the sky package, which with sky+ and some free eveing and weekend calls looks quite reasonable.

when i made my last mistake I said the same however, and endedup with a cr*p service and no support at all from tw*t tw*t:spitfire

anyone have experience of sky package for broadband...its their mid level deal

thanks and happy new year

I know someone who has a TV/phone/broadband package from Sky and they've had nothing but trouble with their emails and a poor(ie it often doesn't work)internet connection.Sky have recently changed to Google for their email service but it seems to have caused as many problems as it solved.Their customer support has been poor too apparently.
Only one customer from thousands of course but it might be worth looking on the users forum before you commit........ http://www.skyuser.co.uk/

hi tony thanks for this, the forum is extremely useful.....will still be changing from talk talk because they have been even worse than the stories on the forum:eek:

looks like I will have a challenge on my hands, first step, terminate TT (wish this could litoral:spitfire) phone package, switch back to BT option one...wait (several) weeks, then get MAC code off TT broadband to switch to SKY
if only it is that easy!
wish me luck

Only another couple of months to go before dumping Pipex. :bounce1

So the trawl to find a better ISP will start soon. Trouble is, most are offering nice big 8Mb download speeds, but I know I can't get much above 2Mb. I need unlimited download space tho', so that is a prime factor.
