broken main lamp!

Hello all from a newbie! Just got back from a 500mile day trip from glasgow to Inverness via the west coast and have just noticed that the glass front on my main lamp (larger of the two lamps) is badly cracked. Is there an easy way to either replace the front or is it a complete lamp that i need? Hope it's not the latter! oh and i have an 1150 gs 99 plate. thanks onyack

Need a whole new unit I'm afraid, just be thankfull you haven't got a 1200 where both lights are integrated..

Broken lamp

You willneed a new unit £95.00 from your local friendly BMW dealer, be glad it's not the dip lamp, these are £1453.00. each. (and the lights are still crap).
These were current prices about four months ago.
