I bought this from a guy I know who lives in Derby. He bought 2 Bromptons one for himself and one for his wife from Halfords August 2023. (I have a copy of the receipt).
They loaded the camper and set off for the Lincolnshire coast. She rode the bike for approximately 10 minutes then announced she would never ride it again. She is a bit precious but really fierce!! So he retreated and kept his mouth shut.
A year later I did the impulse buy thing and bought the bike from him. It was a M3L in Temp Blue. (Mid height/3 speed/mudguards).
I put it in the car and went on a camping trip with dreams of adventures and I rode it once, for about half an hour.
On my return from the epic adventure, In a fit of madness I upgraded the C3ML to a C6MR spec.
So it now has a 6 speed rear wheel, new chain, all the sprockets, cables, shifters etc & a rear rack. All OEM Brompton bought brand new from Brilliant Bikes in Surrey.
I also added uprated rear roller wheels.
Phone/Camera/GPS mount bracket on the stem, also a home made brace thing..
Brompton official in frame toolkit.
Bits of mad expensive clear tape to protect the frame from cable rub.
Some springy things to keep the frame clamps aligned.
I have not ridden the bike since!
I would like £750.00 collected from Harrogate.
If I get the above price I will include a Carradice City bag (BNWT – see photos)
I do have a Brompton box if you want to arrange your own courier to collect.
