Broughton bike meet

Hi,my GS is tucked away until Spring,but I`m feeling crazy enough to go out there on my CB250,as I haven`t been any distance for a month or so.
Would you mind if I did ? I don`t know any of you,and don`t want to spoil a 'boys night' (although I see some partners may be there ) but it sounds like it may be fun.

Hi Mouse, that`s really kind of you,but as well as feeling crazy enough to go on my CB,I am staying with a friend in Crewe tonight,as I have a day off tomorrow. I can go home tomorrow evening on the CB that way. I`ll buy you a drink for the offer though ! Hopefully you don`t look like your avatar,cute as it is !!

I thought about turning up tonight so checked the route on Mapsource. 96 miles each way! And to think I live in the North West too. Bit too far on a January evening methinks.

Hopefully some of you not so Southerners'll turn up in Heversham Thursday evening.

I notice that as per the definition us Cumbrians are classed as being in the Northern section and not the North Western. With their meeting possibly moving to the East of Harrogate it seems we need a new definition as in the Nor nor western mob.

Or maybe there's not the support for a regular get together North of Preston?

Yeah,yeah,look at the time,I know,I know.....but with a bloodstream full of black coffee and a stomach full of curry and chips,I`m not going to sleep for a while yet !!

A good turnout tonight,and very enjoyable too.
97 miles round trip,fabulous ride home on mostly deserted roads,
especially the bit alongside the canal from Sandbach to Middlewich - magic.

We all had a good gab,and considering some only met for the first time tonight ( and it was only my second one ) everything seemed very relaxed....that biking bond again,eh ?

I think it was Rushy that moved over in the car so I could pass on the way home,cheers mate. My brakelights don`t have an intermittent fault,it was my way of saying thanks...I didn`t think of tooting my everso quiet airhorns as I passed !

Any body fancy stating a meet up at the Broughton arms again? I'm the landlord and ride a GSA.
