About to put BT Broadband in for the Boss, does anyone know whether this will run over a standard Extension cable. BT connection box is on the ground floor and the Computer is on the 1st.

Cheers

Yes. You'll need the filter at the top end of the extension for the phpne and the take-off to the modem....... and one for a downstaits phone.

I have had no problems for 18 months using it that way.

Ionly use one filter, and plug an extension lead into it then plug the modem into the other end of the extension lead.

works ok for me

As I understand it some extension leads have a full compliment of wires & are OK but some cheap ones only have the wires in to run 1 line so while it'll work it might be slower than your full potential.

'course I might be talking outa moi ar5e!

(I'm sure someone will tell me)
