There's no way a bike that clean has just done the trip he claims. I demand pictures.
The inside of his ears were just as clean.
Well now that I've got your attention..
I had the BTBR lights fitted on Saturday and cannot speak too highly of the hospitality and quality of service I received.
I could see Alan's face drop as my filthy 1150 rolled into his drive "It's too late to put newspaper down in the garage" was written all over his face but being a true gent he pretended the dead flies, oil and dust didn't bother him one bit.
Not a wire cut, no permanent alterations to the bike (apart from a tiny hole which is only visible if you disassemble the headlight). Parts I didn't even know were missing were replaced and my ham fisted Autocom installation was put right.
Our respective SWMBO's kept each other amused and did a sterling job of feeding us tea and sausage sandwiches while I watched the master at work and became envious of his Corbin seat. I had to remind myself that "Thou shalt not covet thine fellow GSer's seat".
The lights themselves have been very carefully thought through and the set up is nothing less than perfect.
So anyone who still has doubts about this service can be reassured that yet another satisfied customer has been BTBRed.
Get in there before he increases the prices (which he really should do!) or worse still decides it is all too much and stops doing it altogether.
Thanks BTBR - I'm just wating for nightfall again so I can go play...
