Bu**er It fell of the dashboard!!

My wife's car appears to have killed my 2610
It fell of the dashboard and landed screen down on the gear lever!!
Is it possible to get a new screen fitted to these???

Best return it to Garmin, they have a one off type repair charge and then give a one year guarantee with the exchange item! Great but slow service. I have just paid approx £108 to get my Zumo screen repaired....

Ive just sent them a question about a new screen but I may struggle coz the 2601 is no longer supported! It still wworks but the screen is shattered! any one got one they dont want with another fault I can canabalise??

Right, would you believe that it still works! Ive sellotaped up the screen and am using the remote! Car only solution methinks!!

Had you cleaned the dashboard? Only asking as the exact same thing happened to me after we'd given it a good clean. Luckily mine wasn't damaged as I broke its fall while trying to catch it. On the next trip I gaffa taped the feckin thing down - it's not pretty but it works, and just peels off when you've finished.

Right, got a reply from Garmin, no use to man nor beast on one of these!!! Anyone got a semi knackered one for sale??
