Well I got In country today and went straight into oceans on the way home .
After having general chit chat with the lads of this parish ,I was hoping to go sling my leg over the new toilet with a low seat on, and cancel my lowered one,
The low seat still doesn't give me enough leverage to lift the bike off the side stand because my legs are on tip toes , so if I parked on an-cline or camber either side I would be knackered and probably end up dropping it
So back to waiting on my ordered one ARSE!!!!
So all you lucky buggers enjoy it.

The one i took out had the seat adjusted to the low position and I found it higher then my 06 1200 with a low seat.
If I was buying one, and thats a very big IF, then I'd have to go with a lowered version just for the confidence thing

End of april: problem is its two days after I'm back to work so will be back the mid of June...
Original delivery date was supposed to be 4 days ago

If you don't mind the question how small is your inside leg? Cos mine's only 29" and I ride a GSA with few problems

Stevie, that's exactly how I found the full fat version with 28!/2 inside seams, not sure those lucky log legged sods understand the struggle it can be to even reach the side stand on some bikes.

Sure the wait will be worth it in the end

What colour did you order by the way, maybe we can work out who has got yours

Well the misses says my inside is long enough thank you very much


Oh you mean that inside leg measurement ? Heel flat on the ground twenty eight inches im afraid,
I met up with a fella on the Santander ferry last year the same height as me riding a full size adventure, ,but he said he had been riding motocross bikes all his life so it didnt bother him.
I take my hat off to you guys, I just dont feel comfortable without both my feet on the ground both balls of feet minimum for me im afraid

Steve it really is only a matter of confidence, I know when mines been in for service and have had a lowered bike it feels so small. Have a go at ORS it'll build that extra confidence no end.

The only times the height becomes a real pain is going backwards on drive/parking. And when SWMBO gets on and off but then I leave the side stand down, but I also do that as I have a shot left knee.
