Are the maps from City Navigator v8 or v9?
Are you trying to download the whole of Europe or just the UK

Does it work if you reduce the number and size of the map set?

Em City nav v6 :o am waiting for v9 to drop through the door anyday now :mmmm doesnt apear to make any difference about the size of the map even a small area returns the error Do you think a reset "on the 2610" would make any odds and em how is it done thanks :thumb

I'm not familiar with the Master Reset process, but in a previous thread Wedders Gasman said :

"To master reset a 2720 you switch it off, hold buttons map and menu and switch the unit back on again. It is like hard booting a computer it clears everything and resets it to factory settings, basically it cleanses the unit."

This may also work for the 2610. Might be worth giving it a go ....:thumb
