I had the standard LC dark screen fitted to the bike, but decided to go and fit the the puig screen with the hooters strengthening bracket.

I thought i was going to sell it on here , but on removing it , i found a couple of star cracks under the fitting bracket,s
Im well gutted .:mad::blast:blast
You can't actually see them when the brackets are on.
if any body else has one it might be worth looking.

Shouldn't it be covered under warranty?

Double bummer,

Went into Oceans this morning
Bad news first:
On the way there going around a roundabout at about 20 - 25mph , the back end slid out from under me and gently slid down the road with me still hanging onto the bike,:blast
I went down on my right side, the jacket and hip armour took the brunt of it , a couple of abrasive tears in the material. It looked worse than it actually was,
The crash bar took the brunt of it . Not a single mark on the rest of the bike ,

Lucky i think .

Obviously adrenaline picked the bike up and a bus driver got out to see if i was all right .
Continued onto Oceans
My star crack was looked at !!!!! oooooer misses. :P:green gri
And basically the frame mechanism that holds the screens have been modified so is getting upgraded and a new screen ordered all under warranty.
I also had a problem with the locking mechanism on my back box , and it is also getting replaced under warranty ,:beerjug:
So all in all , one star crack is being replaced, and the other puckered for a few seconds, but went back to normal use after a few seconds .:green gri

Stevie, sorry to hear about the off. This time of year is always a bit tricky on the roads. Glad you're ok, the bike is ok, and you're getting a new screen.:beerjug:
