Would I be right in saying that all 3 have the same ESA suspension, as long as ESA is fitted of course.
Rallye
Rallye sport
Rallye TE

I know there is an option for sport ESA suspension, being 20mm longer.
To many options and specs :blast

I think the Rallye and Rallye TE have std GS suspension and the Rallye sport will have the + 20mm suspension.

Rallye - Standard Suspension - Manual Unless ESA specified as an option
Rallye Sport - GSA Suspension +20mm - Manual Unless ESA Specified as an Option
Rallye TE - Full ESA 2

I think they changed recently from having a separate Rallye Sport model with the longer suspension, to just making the Sport option available in the configurator, so there is now just the Rallye and the Rallye TE to which you can add a Sport option. Not sure why anybody would though, even BMW said that it was only appropriate for extreme offroad use and is actually not so suitable for road use as the standard suspension.

Thank-you all, that makes sense I guess,
Not sure why they included passenger kit with the sport if it's meant to be an off roader bias.

it's easily removable.

I have a TE - but in Rallye Spec ( Seat/Screen etc) the stock screen and seats are tucked away.

I'm not sure it is quite that simple.....

I bought a 2017 Rallye Sport in March 2017 and still have it. It is definitely a Rallye Sport (with ESA and all the gismos). However...... The sport suspension was not fitted to it. In fact the Sport suspension option was not even available until several months later. Ergo I think the correct phrase would be a Rallye Sport with sport suspension. Nutty may come along and confirm because I recall he was in the market for one at the time.

I believe the Rallye Sport just denotes; Rallye seat, side stand only & sport screen. I double checked my receipt and mine is a Rallye Sport but it does not have the GSA or sport suspension.

I think even BMW got confused and scrapped it for a TE.
I'm hopefully picking a TE up this week, pending test ride :beerjug:

Just to add to Neils point above, when I bought mine July 17 the model ref was Rallye Sport TE, back then you could add sport suspension to any of the Rallye models as an option. Later on in 17 they changed the models to Rallye Sport and Rallye TE, fecking confusing isn’t it?
