Took my 2006 R1200GS in so they could check out the battery (poor thing just wouldnt hold a charge).

BVM gave me a loan bike to get home on (I live in Cardiff, but as we all know the BMW dealer there is no longer bike friendly) this was free of charge.

Was called to confirm that the battery was 'dead' and that a new one had been installed free of charge as the bike was under 2 years old.
They were even able to get my second 'metal' key out to me by return of post (or so it seemed!) - again free of charge.
And all this after not even having purchased the bike from them in the first place

We are often all too quick to moan (and rightly so) but I also think good customer service should be acknowledged. And as a note to the dealers who may read this - good customer service does pay off, because when it comes to replacing my bike (mid next year) BVM Stroud will get my business!

I cant fault them - we bought a few trials bikes off them a few years ago and they are really helpfull. I test rode a GS & RT with them a few months ago prior to buying my 1200 GSA, sadly I didnt buy from them as I was PX'ing my KTM 990 and CW (who have a KTM dealership) gave me a much better deal on it. Fair play though when I told them I had bought elsewhere they were fine and "hoped they could help out with servicing and maybe a new bike in the future"

Good service bought my 1200gsa from them few months ago good trade in on1200gs even though he had four more at the time.
Bike ready on time even though some toe rag broke in the night before and helped ther selfs to a lot of BMW clothing.So dont buy any cheap gear in pubs it might be nicked.

I've had some excellent service from them in the past and would not have a problem recommending them to anyone.

The only thing I can fault them on is lead times for servicing in the summer...
