I've been to Bala loads of times, ridden past on my way to Dolgellau then on to Aberystwyth. but yesterday I rode back along the South side of Bala.

Wow, it's always great to find new places & the views here were totally unexpected.

I passed Bwlch-Y-Groes which is the highest pass in Wales at nearly 2,000 ft. A favourite testing venue for the Austin car makers in years gone by.
