Bye bye, North and Mid Cheshire, the Venice of the UK.

A local land owner to where I live is having a sea water pipeline layed through his land.
The reason for the pipeline is to convey salt water from the Dee Estuary to North and Mid Cheshire to sites where over the centuries, rock salt and brine extraction has left huge voids under ground. Now these voids are collapsing, (possible to the weight of 1150GSs in the area above... a joke right!), causing subsidence of great scale.
The salt water is to be pumped under ground to basically float the land above using hydraulic force...... what a palarver!
So, Williams BMW and Chester Motorrad may need to start selling gondolas so we Ches-hire rsidents can keep moving.......
