It's probably true that a real test of a company's customer service is not how they deal with the big valuable orders, but how they deal with the small ones.

I broke the latch on a Givi topbox - it's just a small part but it effectively rendered £150+ worth of topbox useless.

I contacted Bykebitz in Yateley, near Camberley, on the off chance that they could help.

The service was simply excellent.

I could not even properly identify the model of topbox :blast, but Graham helped me to identify the correct parts (2 or 3 mails forwards and backwards), ordered them, let me know just 2 days later when they had arrived, sent a further e-mail because the first one went astray, then offered to organise mailing them to me. All that was done at risk.

All in all, Graham went to significant trouble, and the parts cost..... under a tenner.

I'm pretty sure the effort cost Bykebitz a lot more than they made on the sale; the very least I can do is give them a heartfelt recommendation.

Bykebits offers a huge range of luggage options, as well as some great quality clothing. It's easy to reach them from the M3, or their website http://www.bykebitz.co.uk

Thanks for the great service.

I've bought a few bits from them, and agree, their service is second to none.:thumb

I went to their shop to but a sat nav mount for the bike, it was priced at £79. I asked if they could do anything on the price, maybe 10%, but they knew that I would buy it anyway as I'd driven there especially. The chap checked with the boss, and did it for £39.99 as it was priced incorrectly. They could have just knocked 10% off, which I would have been more than happy with, but their honestly was refreshing. I will be back (in an Arnie voice:D):beerjug::JB

I got my scala F5 set from there, one of them was playing up a quick phone call and a trip to the shop and i had a brand new unit. Cant say fairer than that.

Got my SW Motech powered tank bag and ancil's from them, amongst other things, always great service and when I was waiting for my powered tank ring, they called just to let me know the status of the order as it was ordered in from Germany.

Got a top box for the ZX12R (don't laugh) phoned order on Friday and it landed on the Saturday :-)

Insolvency ...

Unfortunately BikeBitz UK is currently under advisement from an Insolvency Practitioner. For further information, or if you feel you have a claim against BikeBitz UK, please email [email protected].

That's a great shame, good service and friendly staff are the exception rather than the norm in my experience, hope they sort their problems out.
