CALLING COOL CARBON!!!!!!

Hi mate,if you are out there, give me a shout. The reason for the post is that i am now the not so happy owner of a carbon induct. Came today, and by the time i got ot open it ,it was too late to mess with the bike.
But you just have to don`t you?? So out i go to the garage to have a look just to see what it looks like on the bike. "Just a dry fit i tell myself". Well i can tell you that the fit is shite, if you get it mated up with the airbox properly, it miles away from the mounting point. Left it for tonight as i was getting my hair off with it. Will have another go tomorrow..... How did yours fit to the bike??

Thanx for taking throuble of posting those pictures mate. Have had another got at fitting the induct today, after taking the tank off to see what the hell we were looking at it all seemed a little bit clearer.
The induct is on now but i have to say that i didnt go down without a fight, Had to re-route lots of wires and the spark plug lead for the left hand cylider so the induct could go where it was supposed to fit.
Still havnt got a perfect seal round the top of the airbox,but will have to live with that. Bike seems to rev a little freer (if thats a word??). Or it could just be my imagination trying to justify spending over a hundred quid on what is just really a carbon funel!!!!!!!
Will report at a later date when i finally get the rest of the goodies in my sweaty little mits......
