Wanted Camera/advice wanted. Night sky pics.

Yes the Seestar is a self contained unit, doesn’t have any facility to change lenses or anything, just an input for an auxiliary battery. It needs this because it’s got a heater element to prevent dew or condensation, which runs the battery down in 3 hours, as opposed to 6 without it. Great unit for the money (£369)
Easy to take away with you too, coke can in pic gives an idea of size.
Anyway for now I’ll keep an eye out for an SLR, another member has one that might work for me.IMG_7256.jpeg

Sounds interesting, could you send me a couple of pics, what is the actual shutter count, pm if you’d prefer, thanks.

Here’s some pics. I can’t see a mark on it, and it’s had gorilla glass on the LCD from new.
Turns out it’s not easy to get a shutter count, but I’m the only owner and I bought a 5D not long after getting this so it’s not had a hard life.
It would come in the original box with 1 battery, body only.

I also have a big Manfrotto tripod that’s surplus to requirements.
