When camping, there's always some smart arse around with something better than you, a little bit lighter, Ray Mears this, arctic quality that, tent packs away in a matchbox, fire will light 50ft under water that sort of thing.

Well i want a tripod, the sort of thing you can set up over a fire and support a cooking pot, now i don't want people pointing and sniggering, i want the real deal, made of "unobtainium", lighter than a feather, packs into a tiny space, that sort of thing.

Oh, its for 'friend' of course:o

go to the ray mears website...........you can get all the stuff from there...:o

Wrong colour:nono , if i dropped it in the grass i'd never find it again:D

You have to go to Primustreffet, then! No grass, I guarantee, only snow!:D

(Honest; is there no old paint in your shed? There are a shed on your boat? No?... OK, then it has to be Primustreffet next week. :D )

;) Liv.

Tease:D , where's that from?

Try Google and search for "tripod grill and lantern hanger" - you'll be amazed what comes back...

(Actually, what comes back are tripod grills and lantern hangers but hey, what's wrong with adding a touch of excitement).

Got one..

Shep, try good old flee bay..
I got one of them things that Tim's showed for about £12 plus PnP but its steel not aluminium. Not that heavy mind you but not that light either. The poles are easily carried if you fancied it (I got mine for car/trailer camping, not the bike) but the grill part is about 40cm in diameter so tricky to carry out side of a TT pannier. Oh the item i got didnt look like the auction pic, but still should work though for what i want. Good luck.
