The wee campsite at Strontian has all been done up folks, I was camping in there at the weekend and the place is TRANSFORMED A couple have taken it over and are making a right good job of doing it up. They have built a fine wee bothy type room with good facilities for the days where it turns a bit damp.
The guy is also a proper biker !! ( charged up me battery for me after oi flattened it ) decent couple trying to make a go of it

£2.10p over on the ferry and 18 miles of one of the best hooning roads in Scotland If yer camping up that way give it a wee go (decent pub at the local hotel )
(ps nae connection to the people i was just very impressed at what they have done in a short time)

As you go up to Fort William on the left the loch narrows right down at the Corran narrows there is quite a big ferry runs back n fourth all day When you get to the other side turn left that heads out to Strontian and its honestly one of the best wee bits o hooning roads in the country ye just need to keep a good eye oot for the sheep.
Right good wee camping site ! n a nice wee pub at the hotel !!
I will go back !!

Na i dinna wull i dinda hae the hert efter the guy offerd tae charge up me battery for me besides i thought £9 was a fair price for the standard of the place £13 up at Broomfield Ulapool (weel thats the price up on the board )
