Hi, probably a bit late now but here's my opinion & experience for what it's worth?
I have a sept 2013 GS lc (k50) & it has had a complete engine replacement due to corrosion where the cylinders join the crank cases, it wasn't terrible at the time but I'm sure in a few years all the paint would of fallen off & looked shite, (this was at 14months & 5k miles, the dealer was I have to say fantastic (bahnstormer Maidenhead) & there was no quibble at all, now I've noticed the centre stand looks like something off a 10 year old bike, (the bike has only seen rain about 10 times in its life & is off the road for winter months) I find the finish to be poor generally, certainly for the cost of it!, it occasionally stalls when approaching a junction, but in comparison to a triumph explorer is so much better to ride! I smile on every journey & the acid test is if it was to get stolen I'd have another one to replace it,! No other bike in my riding career of 35 + years has ever done that.....
