I had a remus y-piece and a BOS exhaust pipe - they melted the numberplate so I had a aluminium backing plate made up.

Overall though I didn't really notice any difference in performance with y-piece (which I had fitted with the stock exhaust for a while before fitting the BOS)

I've since sold 'em and gone back to stock as the noise was getting annoying and actually seems to run smother as stock (surprise, surprise)

i think the y-pipe improves the pick up from low rpm but other than that change it if you want to and don't if you don't

sell it you get £80 -£120 ON EBAY easy...

i have the standard system and it runs sweet is quiet and does not piss anybody off,,,,, as for weight saving have a good shite b4 you go out same result
