Can I borrow your coil packs for ten minutes please?

Plea to anyone in Essex/Suffolk.

My ongoing long term mis-behaving 1150 Twin spark is STILL being a pig.

The entire fuel system has been replaced, up to and including the fuel pump, pressure regulator, injectors, pipes, filter etc etc.

There's a possibility that a coil pack problem exists, even though both are fairly new and in top condition.....I've changed the primary coil this week as that was original, but I'd really like to borrow a pair of known-to-be-good coil packs, just for a blat around the block, to knock that off the list as well



I'm in Harwich or Ravens green, and can provide coffee and biccies and a poke in the shed (fnaar fnaar) and I'm quite happy to balance your TBs and set your TPS properly if I can borrow your coils for a quick test

I have to get the fekker sorted before the hograost, so it's getting desperate now

It's a nice ride out to Ravens Green (about 5 miles outside Colchester) so if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it (I'll be in the shed all week including Saturday, or in Harwich on Sunday)

It's not rideable to the HR with the running like it is, or I'd get it there and bribe a drunk twin spark owner

I'm going to be in Copthorne, near Crawley Sussex on Saturday, if you want to meet some where in the area I have a couple you can have, don't have my 1150GS anymore and they came off a 03 twin spark, the best coloured one, blue / white.

They were brought brand new as I thought I had a coil problem, but it wasn't, they have been sitting in my garage for about a year now....and I am sure they are still there.... will check tomorrow..

I can't offer coil packs, but my van is currently spending most of it's time running empty between Harwich and Winchester for the next few weeks.

The route runs close to a certain GS guru in Kingston if it's any help?

Thanks v much, but it's been in and out of said guru's a couple of times.......I'm down to eliminating possible causes one by one now
