Can this be done? I want my contacts on my KFire and can't do it.
I think it's because I don't use a comp diary or contacts list. ( I can't enter
a diary event on the KFire either, it only does it via sync with comp?)
Love the fire, but can't use those two apps (contacts and diary)
Any help appreciated.

I have an iphone and a Nexus 7 (Android), plus PCs (Win XP and 7) and I can synchronise calendars across all devices using Hotmail or the new online Outlook email. A calendar change on any device gets reflected in all the others. Hotmail now works with the 'Exchange' configuration found in email clients (iPhone and Android) and this has improved its functionality no end.

Using Hotmail as the bridge also works for contacts between Nexus and PCs. I haven't tried synching the iphone with my Hotmail contacts, simply because I have so many email-only addresses in my list which I don't want cluttering up my phone but I don't see why it wouldn't work as there is a slider for 'contacts' in the iphone email account settings (these allow you to select which items are synched for each mail account: mail\contacts\calendar\reminders).

Worth a try - open a Hotmail account, set it up on the iphone and Kindle and let the iphone synch contacts with the Hotmail account. i'd expect your iphone contact list to appear in Hotmail and from there it should appear on the Kindle :thumb2

Or gmail.
Not perfect, but I seem to have for email, calendar and contacts all working across an iPad and an android phone. All using free apps from iTunes or android market.
I can check what apps if you want
