Canbloodybus side lights

Fitted a LED side light it looked the biz..........until it blew up!
It burnt itself to a crisp, took out the bulb holder and smoked the inside of the headlight.
Spent 2 hours with the headlamp off using bits of bent wire and rags to clean the glass. Ho hum back to ordinary light. Could be worse I could have play on my final drive...........Oh bugga I have got play, about 1mm, better register a possible failure. Wish I had my Triumph back.

Of course, the canbus is crap because you put a non stantard piece of bling on the bike. I take it the cheap Chinese bulb failed and not the canbus?? What a crock of horseshit..........

I imagine that has set a train of problems off so now your FD, FPC etc etc will follow suit in quick succesion

Canbus is a control protocol, nothing to do with electrical incompetence.

As for your FD having play in it, I hope you have some warranty left on the bike. If so it's a simple claim via a dealer. If not, there are plenty of repair solutions ranging from DIY to independents, specialists and main dealers.

Could be a Canbus fluid pressure issue.
