Following work completed last week:

6000 mile service - no problems, simple job, Happy :beerjug:

Re-call - no problems, finished on time etc, Happy :beerjug:

Software upgrade, finished on time etc, Not happy :mcgun

Having said that I am in no way blaming Cannons. I understand the dealer just downloads the software then uploads it to the bike. As I have mentioned on another thread the bike is lumpy and not as pleasent to ride as it was prior to this work being carried out. Cannons don't open on a Monday so have emailed them. Will now wait to see what happens. It seems Lee is no longer working there and I have been dealing with Sean. Nice enough bloke. Overal no issues with the work or the service received so far :clap

Were you informed of the EWS recall, or were you just lucky to be having the service?

I went into Cannons as I had read about the recall on this site and they confirmed work needed to be done.

Re my service issues. Sean from Cannons called me on the Tuesday and reassured me everything was as it should be. He was very helpful and I agreed to see how the bike was running after a couple of weeks.

Overall I am satisfied with the service I have received so well done Cannons :thumb2

My bike has been to Cannons for the fuel line re call and some minor warranty work.

Fred arranged for the bike to be picked up and delivered (FOC), the work was done - excellent, well happy. Fred kept me fully informed regarding the work and the return of the bike and it had been washed :thumb2.

Top service from their team, thanks Fred. Darren, who picked up and delivered the bike is a top bloke.

Thanks guys :beerjug:

I recently had my 1200gs 6000 mile service, some recall front brake lines replaced, and rear warped disc replaced by Cannons all perfect.
Tony the sales manager lives local to me so he picked up the bike in the morning and dropped it back that evening couldnt be easier.Very helpfull and nice chap.
Fred kept me informed throughout the day.No complaints.
Top service.:bounce1:bounce1:bounce1

Well it's nice to here something good about them on here.
They serviced mine did the computor upgrade ran like shit afterwards why the hell don't they road test bikes after services or with the upgrade being so suspect at least advise of potential problems with it.

Thankfully we now have a very good dealer back in Norfolk they did another upgrade & sorted the bike out.

Come on mate - give them a break. They are obviously making a big effort and from what I have seen to date it is working. Why keep bring up old worn out moans from the distant passed :nenau (If that is the case). Your Norfolk dealer has only just arrived and it is pleasing to hear they are pushing your buttons but it is early days :augie

Well I'm pleased to hear it however I wasn't aware they had changed so it's good you brought it to everyone's attention.

Six months ago is that distant past?

I could have added more regarding the service I received but didn't if you're happy with them fare enough however I've witnussed first hand how a dealership can & should be run. Early days yes I know but as they say you pays ya money you makes ya choice.

Good luck & long may you continue to be happy with your local dealer
