Has anyone come up with a surefire way of using existing gloves with smartphone (Apple) screens

There is plenty of discussion elsewhere re thread, gels, patches, saliva etc but little practical useage

Rukka X-Trafit gloves work, or at least mine do with my Apple phone.... Still have to take my helmet off, mind.

my experia z1 waterproof phone has a glove mode I can switch on or off. Then its just a case of hitting the right keys with a thick padded glove!. Previously I did the conductive thread through a finger. It works, quite well if you make a large enough ball point at the tip.

I bought some new gloves from Infinity - intermediate jobs with some light insulation and a Hipora membrane. They have touchscreen compatible tips to the index fingers. Not tested that element of the glove but otherwise good on a chilly or damp morning commute. As ever, since buying the glove at Easter, the price has dropped and you can get a pir for £35 in some shops e.g. http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/202672 - note they do a mens & womens version.
