My son has 'borrowed' my old Tom Tom sat nav.....:augie

It was a few years old, maps out of date, time to replace I guess.

The Tom Tom was a fairly basic thing which suited me just fine.....I don't need every single bell and whistle. I have looked at a few reviews but I would appreciate your input.

Recommendations please for a car sat nav....under £100.00 and where do I buy ?

Thank you.....:thumb2

Halfords.

Go on their website and peruse.
I use a TomTom 820 which is 2 years old, cost @100.00 and so far it's been brilliant - finding @25 addresses a day.
Plus tomtom's update service is easier to navigate.

It might nor be an issue for you but, the newer TomToms do not have a route itinerary facility, i.e. you cannot store a route with multiple waypoints.
Their biggest failing in my opinion .

Buy a discontinued Garmin.

Register it and download the one-time free mapping update.

I got Susan a garmin for £80 from Currys can't remember which model it is but went for garmin as if you have a Nav 5 with lifetime maps as they are registered to the user I.E me you can update any garmin device

Or that is what seems to happen any way

Weren't Halfords advertising widescreen TomToms with Euro mapping for about £75 recently?

Just go on Ebay look up Mio 419LM for a small one or 619LM for a bigger screen

LM means lifetime map updates you can pick one up for £30 delivered!

we use them in work daily
