Anyone got a carbon can co exhaust system on their 1100GS?

If so did you go for the road legal version and how has the fuelling / running been affected?

:) :)
I have fitted the y peice and the road legal can, which the baffles can be removed, i find it far to load without the baffles, just right with baffles in.I have had a teclusion unit fitted and rolling road tuned i have really noticed the difference, a lot smoother and and better mid range.I had the work done at Cray Engineering at sittingbourne kent Tell:01795 431444 give them a ring they will give you all the infomation you require.
I recomend not to get the twin outlet can as my one has blown a hole in my side pannier and mlted my indicator.

Thanks lotty.

When you talk about the removable baffles is that what their website refers to as a "db killer" ? Did the fitting of the can cause poor running and force you to have the teclusion unit fitted or is that something you were planning on doing anyway?

Thing is I'm looking for a cost effective replacement exhaust system to make the bike sound a bit better than standard (not hard). I'm not bothered about any performance increase and I deffo can't afford to have expensive tuning and dyno work done at the mo.

So I need a cheap system that won't mess up the fuelling, but sounds better/louder than standard. - Any suggestions? (apart from taking a black and decker to my standard can  )
