Bike is now back after a 48K service, new clutch and an oil leak from the LH head (turned out to be the head gasket). (which was a surprise and missed twice by a much revered main dealer 
)
Running perfectly and a superb job by Mike
. Really nice to meet someone who has such a genuine knowledge and love of bikes and is happy to pass on snippets of advice to you. Kept me totally infomed of what was going on (back order of clutch, problem with head gasket) and checked all was ok before going ahead with work.
Usually when I have handed over as much money as I did to Mike i have a slightly sick feeling for a few days but 10min on my bike sorted that. I will have no hesitation going back as the work is top notch.
I can recommend Mike to anyone looking for work done to their bike (of any make tbh) give him a call on 07843 528377.
He uses genuine BMW parts so yer warranty should be fine and he is a hell of a lot cheaper than any main dealer i have been to (the labour alone in a main dealer would have been the same as the total bill to Mike
