Not impressed -my Packtalk Edge died in Brittany last week.
Just refused to power on , unless plugged in, then would power on but instantly shut down .
Tried a hard reset etc but to no avail.

Impressed-contacted Cardo. Had to send them a few details/pictures and a video showing the issue.
They then sent me a prepaid FedEx label. I dropped it off at local office rather than wait in for collection .
Emailed Cardo to say FedEx have got it and Cardo emailed back within minutes to say they are despatching me a new unit to arrive within 5 business days -no waiting to receive my unit and trying to fix it etc.
My unit was bought in November 2023 but they come with 3 year warranty.

So positives and negatives, but can’t fault their support .
 
We've got 2x Bold Duo's and one set has started to have a drastically reduced run time even just on bluetooth.
Waiting to hear on if its a battery replacement or them replacing the set.

That is good news, Cardo are always getting slated on their facebook account for support issues. I've had an edge for 6 months now, fingers crossed all ok. I have a Packtalk (orgiginal) which is also going strong, although I did a battery replacement a year or so ago before I upgraded.
 
Replacement unit already despatched via DHL from Budapest .
Says I’ll have it tomorrow.
Fat chance of that as it’s got to get to UK then across to Guernsey, but should be here in a few days .
Great service.

I've got a Cardo Packtalk Bold, works ok on DMC (mesh) with another Cardo, but I've wasted hours trying to get it to pair with a non-Cardo via the
"Cardo gateway" I truly hate the app and the tiny buttons on the unit.
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a Fodsport FX8 off AliExpress for £60, it has great reviews. Top marks for AliExpress, it was in the UK within 4 days and cleared customs. Then EVRI got their hands on it and it's disappeared. Now trying to get AliExpress to send another one.

My mate is telling me a should get a SENA mesh adaptor and all my pairing problems will vanish. Anyone here tried this ?
