Careful when washing Macna Cool vest

It does fit me loose. In sleeved tops I am a Large as I’ve broadened in shoulders over the past couple of years. However, across chest I am a Medium/Large depending where I buy my clothes from. This particular (IXS) vest however a bit loose on me. I’d say that if you are Large/XL then XXL will be comfortable if perhaps very slightly loose. The black side panels are made of stretchy mesh, so will expand to accommodate a more swelte figure. It is just too big for me.

It’ll be going back to Louis Moto for a full refund and unfortunately for me, a new order will have to be placed for a replacement vest in Medium, or if you feel it’ll work for you, then I’d be happy to sell it to you (if you feel it’ll fit you) at cost with few quid to cover the postage.

what I do notice EV there is a difference in the Macna vest versus yours above. The Macna has the water filled bag that goes all around the middle chest area so along your flanks. The photo above shows only front and back panels therefore IMO the Macna probably offers better cooling as there is more surface area for evaporation to occur.

I can’t get hold of Macna here in the UK. So can’t say if it does fit better or indeed has a greater cooling effect.
The way I see it, is the due to how Macna is constructed, and if you have a bit swelter figure in and around midriff, you would then have to go up a size to accommodate said midriff but have the vest loose around the shoulders are and possibly chest.
Inuteq/IXS variant however has elasticated flanks, which means you can buy a more true to size vest and have scope to accommodate your midriff issues.

When I was recently chatting with @RedRick Esq. he suggested that Inuteq is a better product compared to Macna, he has both products to compare them side by side.

Is it a case of mine is better than yours?
I couldn’t possibly answer this question, having only ever tried on Inuteq and IXS vests.

All I want for it, is to cover my cost of buying the vest at £124.00, plus cost of UK postage to you, or if you are local, feel free to collect it.
