Hi Folks,
I've just brought home my new-to-me '22 R1250GSA (I'm a very happy lad right now), and while I was collecting the bike, the seller's brother offered me his W702 unit, as he was upgrading to the new one.

I bought it off him and am impressed with the device, but I don't much like how it obscures the top of the dash. The seller had fabricated a bracket to raise the Carpuride about half an inch, and that made the location perfect, with no obstruction to the top of the dash. I don't have the know-how or ability to fabricate something like this myself, so was hoping someone on here might be able to recommend a place where I could get one.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi had same issue, try this, remove Carpuride and screen this will give you access to locking fixing’s on the back the Nav Prep slightly loosen and rotate up just a few degrees will be enough.NB the new 702BS has different mounting which fits much closer and the problem doesn’t exist ( have had both) good luck

The only issue that creates is its facing the sky and makes it difficult to see in bright sunlight.

Thanks both, I've done this now, and can see that it alleviates the dash issue, but as Onahi says, it may prove to be an issue in bright sunlight. I'll run it with the tilted screen for now, but will keep looking for a bracket.

This guy does a couple of adapters. Any good?
Ebay
I'm happy to report that I contacted the seller and he worked with me to fabricate an adapter suitable for the GS. He sent me a unit for testing and it solves all the issues I was having.

If anyone else would like one of these adapters, they're now live on eBay, at the following link:

Thanks to @Redboots for the suggestion.
