Just had this wee baby out for a couple of days while my CT gets a few bits added and Im well impressed.
Handles sweetly, engine is pokey without being too excessive, comfy, brakes well and with ABS is a potential all year round option. I had many happy miles on a CBR600FM years ago and this brings back happy memories indeed :beerjug:

Maybe less is more??

Well done Honda :thumb2

Thats interesting that you thought it good compared to an old FM model.

A mate of mine runs an FV that really needs replacing as its getting a bit unreliable, but he tried the new F and didn't rate it at all.

Although I reckon it's just a bit of snobbery as it's based on a Hornet. He is a bit of a plonker mind:blast

What did he have against it?

I definitely had a great time on it :thumb

Not sure about that, this is a proper all round bike that would thrash the pants ( on todays dumbed down roads ) off most bikes:clap. Agreed, maybe a larger bike needed for major 2 up touring:thumb2

I 'borrowed' the same CBR as you, Trev when my V was in for a service. Cracking bike for normal riders on normal roads. It was cleaner when I left it back tho'. :D

I bet it was. Must lend you my CT sometime then :green gri

It looks like similar underpinnings to the Hornet, the other 1/2 has one - cracking allrounder
