Come on people, give us a classification, Overseas or not?

Offshore *ankers

How can Donkeys have a Status ???
Same goes for the Crapauds as well.
No favouritism on this site....
But Manny Fagnet does have a gorgeous MV:rolleyes:

Guernsey has the best Milk and Cream in the world (Even beats Devon/Cornish clotted) , and Beer from Vauxlaurens Brewery, can you still get a pint of 'VB' these days. :thumb2

Not bothered about the over seas aspect:nenau

Dunno about overseas....but defeinitely up some forgotten back water :D I lived in the CI's for 8 years - sure fire receipe for cabin fever ----- arrggghhhh I wanna get off ....so I did ;)

Well if them tax dodgers from the channel get Overseas status, then us Manxies should get it too! :aidan

Greetings down there from us up here! :beerjug:

I was thinking of asking the same thing. What a wonderful thing this site is!

Who amongst us lives on Guernsey?

Happy new year GS Tribe,
Are any of our number living on Guernsey? My better-half maybe offered a job there later this year and I am wondering how bike-folk handle the place....mmmm.........it ain't very big so I can only assume that you have to make frequent trips to the european mainland for the two-wheeled fun....which is something I think I could live with.:clap

As Uncle Albert said in 'Fools and Horses' (about the Isle Of Wight)

'You Wanna Try Walking It Pal'

Now see if anyone can name the episode!!!!!

Mac:)

There are hundreds of bikes over here.

And yes,it does help by making frequent trips to the european mainland.

But there are 2 ferry companies operating daily in the summer, and St Malo is only 90 minutes away.
But it certainly beats having to ride in the UK !!

Sounds just like the IOW except we have rip off fuel as well.:P

Well,as of 01 Jan we have rip off fuel as well.

It has just jumped to about 90 p per litre because vehicle tax has been abolished and you now pay upfront on the fuel instead.

Lobster Rider

Good to see another Crapaud on the site. I'm Jersey born and lived there all my life until recently when I moved to Devon. I found 9 miles by 5 too restrictive and needed a change of scene. Still "work" for Jersey company so back every few months.

Which GS do you have? Did you get it from Jacksons or from UK dealer? I noticed they just sold a 2007 GSA registered in 2008, bet they charged full price for it.
