You're going to have to wait until next year, but then you can get an all-singing, all-dancing device !!!

BlueTooth, FRS bike-to-bike, you name it, it's got it (but it will not make you coffee on demand...that's an extra option).

Neither Autocom or Starcom have anything. Autocom even commented that they don't think BT is really of use at this moment.

had an email exchange with them. They said they don't really believe in BT technology today, but if things move onwards, they will consider.

Feels a bit like Bill Gates saying that 10 Mbytes is all people will need for their PCs....

It looks to me as if the XB1 and a Bluetooth helemet makes the Autocom redundant, unfortunately I have one, though I haven’t used it at all this year, I couldn’t do with the cables...

Looks good. 5 mile bike to bike radius wouldbe great. Wonder if someone will do a blue tooth adaption pack for standard helmets?

Yes, that's the beauty of BT. You could even just use a standard BT earphone as you get with portable phones !!

I can fit one (a Sony-Ericson) under my helmet !
