Asda has 4ltr cans of GTX oil for £10,but its "part synthetic" 10/40 A3/B4 is it suitable for the 2v boxers?

Personaly I would not use it and I have a 2v boxer. have they got any 20w-50

My view on it is. "As long as it is engine oil and of the correct weight for the ambient temparature range, Then I will stick it in*" (* If it needs topping up any engine oil will do EXCLUDING FULLY SYNTHETIC) or but not

B & Q do a mineral 20/50 as do Halfrauds ( classic ) oil

Asda do supply 20/50 in 1Ltr bottles for a little over £2 but I couldn't find out whether it was mineral or synth'. I used it in my oilhead...
