Cheapest option for a GPS?

Cheers for replies and ideas. Tyre works great with my car TomTom but as pointed out what it will be like on a bright day remains to be seen... or not probably! I like the look of the TT Urban and I may be tempted one day but this is just needed for one or two long runs trying avoid the busy roads hence the point to point or rather waypoint entries to plan out a decent route before leaving. Not keen on Garmin for road use - gotta be TT for me.:)
