Most posters wanted the culprits exterminated and a couple of bleeding heart eejits from pavee point we're arguing that it's their culture.

That argument boils my piss, it really does

It's common practice to carry out female circumcision in many countries, and many cultures had 'traditions' that are just as barbaric and have no place in our society.....just because it's a cultural thing, it doesn't mean it should be allowed here

At the time of the offence they were quite simply outnumbered and could not possibly have gained the upperhand and collared the ones they wanted to, and then bring it to court with enough evidence to get a conviction.
With Travellers it is often a case of whoever has the biggest gang wins.

Having witnessed a fight between two families in the dole office many years ago, involving slash hooks - i dont blame the Gards for failing to bring them in.
