Any interest in the SW for a pub meet either for Christmas Lunch or Christmas Evening Meal? I could pop down to The Diggers and see what they have planned menu wise, and then come up with some dates.

Yes,go for it.:)

Sid

PS I have my 50th birthday on 29th December so I could have a right royal piss up at my place on 29th. Apparently, the 29th is a Saturday night.:)

Have just spoken to The Diggers and they can accommodate a small group of up to around 15 people on the Saturday night around 7pm, so i'll probably be going ahead with this.
For those that would like to come, let me know via pm.

There's a B&B in the village and, for those hardy ones, a campsite that will take tents or wobbly boxes, so you can come, enjoy and not worry about driving home.

The pub will require a fiver a head deposit if we go ahead with the booking. I'll wait and see if there's any interest before going to see them this weekend. We'll be going for a family meal so we'll book a table for ourselves. Once that's booked you'll be able to add to our booking on a first come first served basis, and bookings will cease one the pub's full. So, if you're interested, get in touch, the early birds will be the ones' scoffing the worm!:D

Bugger, this is what happens if you don't get your foot in the door really early. Rang to book The Diggers last night and another group has jumped the gun, sorry folks.
